#91 Reflections

#91  Reflections

December 28, 2019

We shall begin 2020 with thousands of memories from this incredible trip. We acknowledge all of the factors that made this trip even possible.  We feel very blessed.

From Newfoundland we have memories of the warm and friendly people who call the island home.

The boulder filled lakes and ocean beaches never got old.  Their bumpy roads shall forever be the standard by which we rate bad roads.

The moose, bear, fox, caribou, puffins and whales each have a memory niche.

I especially like talking with all the young people that manned the tourist attractions. The natural beauty of Newfoundland gave us an everlasting gift.

Whether up close to an iceberg or down in a mine. We are so happy to have experienced Newfoundland.

We appreciated spending time with our friends, Glenn and Jackie in upstate New York, and our long-time friends, Diana and Paul who live in St. Mary’s Georgia. A special gift was meeting Sharon in person. We have communicated with (text, email, Facebook) for a couple of years. Sharon is Jeff’s mother-in-law and Julie’s mom who lives in Maryland.  We spent a lovely dinner time with Lynn and Jay's granddaughter Heather.

Niagara Falls, Central Park and Lake George stand out as special times.

The museums offered us knowledge and insights about our history. Each Hall of Fame told their own particular stories.  Loved driving the cars in the NASCAR Museum.  We were touched by the 911 Museum.

Each bus and boat tour gave us new knowledge.

This journey included many islands and beaches each marked with an individual memory. The manatees, sea turtles, pelicans, dolphins also have a memory niche.

The list goes on and on at shown in 90 blogs.  I just selected a quick pick of photos for this blog. Thank you for sharing our adventures in my blogs.  I hope enjoyed reading about our trip.

Wishing you many adventures of your own in 2020! Happy New Year!

We are starting the year with a new furry family member, Miss Callie Jo!  I had hoped to include a photo, but my computer wouldn't download the pic from my phone. New adventures lie on the horizon!
